Is There No Limit?

No! There IS no limit to the awesomeness of this stamp set! And there is no limit to the awesomeness of the special person who is getting this card either! You know who you are–or you will, when this comes in the mail.

brayer awesomeness

Brayered Background: This beautiful background was created using three colors simultaneously on my brayer. First I rolled the left side of the brayer on a So Saffron ink pad. Then I rolled the right side of the brayer on a Mint Macaron ink pad, slightly overlapping the So Saffron. Finally, I rolled the right side of the brayer on a Pool Party ink pad, just overlapping the Mint Macaron. Then, the brayer is rolled onto the card stock. I had to do this two or three times to get the smooth, solid coverage that you see on the project. Tomorrow I will highlight tips and tricks specific to the brayer–it’s a fantastic tool when you know how to use it!
Rounded corners: The corners on each layer of this project have been rounded for a soft look matching the soft flowing colors of the card. We currently have two options for rounding corners: the Project Life® Corner Punch and the Envelope Punch Board, which I used here. Coming soon in the Holiday Catalog we have a beautiful new trio punch that will punch different corner designs.
Archival Black Pad: One of the highlights of our new catalog is the reintroduction of a Basic Black and Basic Gray ink pad. This card was stamped with the new Archival Ink Basic Black, and the ink is fantastic–great coverage and a nice dark image. You will definitely want to add this ink pad to your collection for all your black ink needs!
