I am loving the new Balloon Adventures bundle in the Occasions catalog. There are so many ways to use these stamps and framelits. Here are two cards of similar design showing a couple of options. Check below for a video showcasing this bundle–it’s definitely worth watching!
Tips and Tricks
Be Snippy! The balloons can easily be snipped out of the Pop-Up Thinlit. I recommend stamping the balloons or gluing on the cut-out thinlit pieces first, though, so that you can be sure to trim the balloon to the right size. For the Tangerine Tango card, I also trimmed out the bottom part of the thinlit to add the strings and bow below the greeting.
Punches and Thinlits and Stamps, oh my! I love how the balloon framelits are designed to be completed with the Balloon Bouquet Punch, the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits AND the stamps from the Balloon Adventures stamp set. On the Crushed Curry card I showcased the stamps, and on the Tangerine Tango I used the thinlits and the punch.
CASE! You’ve probably heard it before, but CASEing a card is a great way to find inspiration. CASE means “Copy And Share Everything”, and it gives you permission to gain inspiration from other projects! I CASEd the Tasty Trucks sample from the cover of the Sale-A-Bration catalog…see?
One more thing before you leave–check out this great video about the Balloon Adventures bundle:
