Stamp Clubs

A local Stamp Club is a group of people who meet regularly for stamping, learning and fun. At each meeting, the members pool their orders so that one member (the “hostess” for that meeting) earns Stampin’ Rewards from that club meeting. The “hostess” rotates so that every member of the club gets to earn the benefits at one meeting throughout the year. You enjoy the same Stampin’ Rewards (free product and SU! specials) that you would if you hosted a party at your house, but without all the cleaning, cooking and inviting! Stamp Clubs are also sometimes called Hostess Clubs, because the hostess benefits rotate to each member during the course of the club.

An online Stamp Club takes place virtually and members can participate from all over the US. Therefore, there is no “meeting”, but each member places an order on or before a specified date using the club’s Hostess Code. When all orders have been placed, the hostess then places her order with me and redeems her Stampin’ Rewards. All orders are shipped directly to the participants of the club.

Local Stamp Club FAQs

What is a club meeting like?

At club meetings, we usually make 3 projects. I demonstrate the projects and everybody makes all of the projects to take home. We see lots of new products, learn new techniques and have lots of fun. A lot of the projects are cards, but sometimes we make 3-D projects or some kind of “special fold” project—like a gift card holder or a swing card.

If the hostess WANTS TO, she can bring snacks or drinks or something for the members to enjoy. But that is totally up to the hostess. Stamp Club is really supposed to be an escape from every day craziness, so we keep it simple with no expectations. Except that the hostess will earn free product!!

What is the financial commitment?

Typically, 6 members join for 6 meetings and the minimum purchase is $25 per meeting. This ensures that the club total reaches $150 and qualifies for rewards. But, that can be modified to fit 5 or 4 members, too, by raising the minimum a bit.

How often does the club meet?

Typically, the commitment is for one year. 6 members would meet every other month, dropping the later months in the year if only 5 or 4 members joined:

January, March, May, July, September, November  OR

February, April, June, August, October, December

But there are other options. Some clubs like to meet every month, instead of every other, so these 6 club members would complete their meetings in 6 months. Again, if you and a group of friends want to meet together, we can work it out however you would like.

The meeting schedule is created at the beginning of January (or February) and all of the meeting dates for the whole year will be assigned, along with the hostess for each month.

How is the hostess for each month decided?

For a new club, the hostess order is “randomized”. That means I put all the members’ names in a hat, and pull one out for January, the next one for March, etc.

For an existing club, we rotate. The first two move to the end of the year, and everybody else moves forward: January and March become September and November. May and July become January and March. September and November become May and July. That way, over time, everyone gets a shot at the seasonal specials.

What if I can’t make a club meeting?

If you can’t make one of the club meetings, you will need to send me your order (or enter it online with the appropriate hostess code) BEFORE the club meeting. If you don’t place your order by the specified date, I’ll place an order for you, using your credit card on file. When you pick up your order, you’ll get the materials to make the projects that you missed, too!

Can I bring a guest?

Definitely! On her first visit, a guest can just come check club out. There is no commitment to make a purchase. If she likes it and wants to come back, there’s a $10 fee, or she can place a minimum order of $25.

Can I come as a guest?

Absolutely! If you aren’t a member of a club yet, come check us out! Same as above, your first visit has no obligation to purchase anything, and then you can choose to come back for either $10/meeting or $25 minimum purchase/meeting.

When can I join a club?

New clubs form during November and December for start dates in January and February of the following year.

How can I earn more free stuff when I am the hostess?

There are lots of opportunities to earn more freebies. You can invite friends to club during “your” month, contact people and collect outside orders (those who don’t come to club but still place an order) or host a party at your home in the same month as your club and we can combine all the orders into one HUGE party for you!

How do I get my order?

You have two choices, and you choose each month based on what works better for you:

  • Place an online order using the hostess code for the club and it will be delivered to your home. You can do this at the club meeting so that we know everyone’s orders are placed and the hostess can begin selecting her freebies. Online orders are more convenient, but depending on the size of your order, you might incur a little extra shipping, since the minimum shipping charge does apply ($6.95).
  • You can place your order with me before or during club and pick your order up from me when it arrives. Once the order is delivered to me here, I’ll split it out and send an email to let everyone know that it’s here. Then you can come by and pick it up whenever it’s convenient for you.

How often does a club member place an order?

Typically, the commitment is for 6 months. 6 members would place an order each month for the duration of the club. However, if a group preferred to meet every other month, or once a quarter, all of these are options that can work for a club.

The hostess order is randomized. If the same club members continue for another 6 month commitment, we will rotate so that the first two from the previous club move to the end of the second club and everybody else moves forward. That way, over time, everyone gets a shot at the seasonal specials.

What if I don’t place an order for a club month?

All members must place a monthly order for the club to be successful. Therefore, if you don’t place an order by the specified date, I will place one for you, using your credit card on file, and select product from your “wish list” or random product if you have not provided a “wish list”. The total for that order will not exceed $30 unless you request otherwise.
